I recently watched this film, and while an interesting movie, It felt more like a sequel to Evil Dead Rise than it did a Mummy movie. The pacing was good and the story was entertaining. It rides the line between a possession movie and a cabin in the woods horror, since most of the movie is a single location. I would recommend the movie for those wanting a fun movie but wouldn't go as far as saying it is a must watch.

It did and it isn't, and i want to be clear it was a fun movie. I do feel that The Mummy is a misleading title though, because I mean yeah sure technically you can call it that, but it's not what it's about. Worth a watch though, especially if you liked Evil Dead Rise.Comment
